| January 2012 marks the first annual KNOCKDOWN CANCER campaign. Participating Bowl Canada member bowling centres will be donating 25 cents from every paid shoe rental during the month of January, 2012 to the Canadian Cancer Society to aid in the FIGHT and KNOCKDOWN CANCER. Participating bowling centres are also finding other ways to raise donations through initiatives in bowling leagues, customer pledges and sales of custom apparel such as pink mini bowling shoes, pink mini bowling pins, Knockdown Cancer T-shirts, toques, bags, and more. Many centres even have CUSTOM PINK BOWLING PINS to show their Knockdown support. It's all for the great cause of Knocking down cancer. They've also gone all out and most have special order PINK BOWLING SHOES, a first anywhere, and a fun and exciting way to show support for the fight against cancer which touches virtually everyone.
